The twenty-fourth Special EU Programmes Sectoral meeting

The twenty-fourth Special EU Programmes Sectoral meeting was held at the Monaghan Peace Campus on 23 January 2026. The meeting was attended by Jack Chambers TD, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, John O’Dowd MLA, Minister for Finance and Paul Givan, MLA Minister for Education. Minister Chambers chaired the meeting.

Ministers welcomed the achievements of the Special EU Programmes Body since the last meeting held in April 2025 in Armagh, and noted the important contribution made through the implementation of the PEACE IV, INTERREG VA and PEACE PLUS programmes.

Ministers welcomed a presentation from the Shankill Women’s Centre on the PEACE IV Shankill Shared Women’s Centre, a shared space facility providing a broad range of services and support for women and their families from all community backgrounds.
