2010 saw a number of significant developments for the North South Ministerial Council (NSMC). NSMC MeetingsAt its Plenary meeting of 5 July, members of the Northern Ireland Executive and the Government of Ireland had a comprehensive discussion on the fiscal challenges facing each jurisdiction and the measures being taken to consolidate budgets and prepare for economic recovery.
