The thirty-second North South Ministerial Council Aquaculture & Marine Meeting was held in Carlingford on 4 July 2025.
The meeting was attended by Darragh O’Brien TD, Minister for Climate, Environment and Energy, Andrew Muir MLA, Minister for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, Junior Minister Aisling Reilly MLA and Junior Minister Pam Cameron MLA of the Executive Office.
The Council welcomed the report on the activities of Loughs Agency, including ongoing conservation and protection efforts, since the last meeting in this Sector in June 2024. Ministers also received a presentation on Loughs Agency’s strategic plan for its role in Carlingford.
