The twenty-eighth North South Ministerial Council Language Body meeting was held in the NSMC Joint Secretariat Offices, Armagh on 29 May 2024. The meeting was attended by Minister for Communities Gordon Lyons MLA, Junior Minister at The Executive Office, Aisling Reilly MLA and Minister of State with special responsibility for the Gaeltacht, Sport and Physical Education, Thomas Byrne TD. Minister Lyons chaired the meeting.
The Council welcomed the overall achievements of the North South Language Body from 2021 to date and commended the valuable contribution made by the Ulster-Scots Agency and Foras na Gaeilge.
